I was the proud owner of a
1969 Mach I
Mustang, 351 Cleveland that I souped up into a
killer race car. I have a ticket from the New Mexico State Police
for speeding - 145MPH in a 65MPH zone... I was on the brakes for 1/2
mile before he clocked me. By far, the Mustang is
the most fun I ever had in any car I ever owned. Later on, I had a
Mazda Navajo, which was REALLY an
Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer. That truck
took a brutal beating through the fine "sugar sand" of the New
Jersey Pine Barrens to the rough terrain of the Adirondack
Mountains. I TRIED to beat that truck to death, but
that truck just wouldn't die. That
1991 truck is STILL ON THE ROAD with a happy second owner. When I
sold it to him, the odometer had already gone around...
